In high school, I was an average student. In college, I only excelled in my art classes. My experience as an average student, turned teacher, has allowed me to see how many of my former teachers missed the mark.

Now, I’m a little bit of a curriculum nerd. Looking at scope and sequence is like a puzzle to solve with more than one solution. The key is to keep the big picture in mind while still considering the unique needs of your students. Don’t worry- I break it all down and give you specific examples.

Auditing your art curriculum is like cleaning out your pantry. Get rid of the stale lessons and add some fresh snacks! It’s not as hard as you may think. Updating my curriculum is an ongoing process and this free class will get your well on your way.
