Kirsten Hammond, M.Ed is an educator, curriculum designer, and founder of The Southern Teach. She has over 9 years of classroom teaching experience working with elementary students and is passionate about helping educator minimize the overwhelm of teaching with easy-to-prep and engaging ELA and Social Studies resources for the upper elementary classroom.
Kirsten received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University and Masters degree in Education at Texas State University. She is also certified in English as a Second Language and Gifted and Talented. She has always been intrigued about the different ways students learn best and loves being able to support students academically, socially, and behaviorally based on personality types and learning styles. She lives in Texas with her husband and 2 kids.
