In this workshop, we’ll dive into 6 behavior management strategies that are holding us back from making real, lasting change in students. As we make our way through these out-dated supports, I’ll teach you exactly what to replace them with, as well as how to seamlessly start integrating them into your practice.
What you won’t find here? Cookie-cutter, one-size fits all behavior management plans.
What you will get? Impactful, actionable, interventions and shifts that are trauma-informed.
Participants will recognize the top 6 antiquated interventions & mindsets for dealing with student behavior & re-haul them to new, effective supports that truly work.
This course is right for you if you’re tired of receiving the same advice: use a visual schedule, make a behavior chart, etc.
You know those aren’t effective and you’re ready to add fresh takes to these old interventions!
You’re ready to take a hold of behavior management instead of constantly relying on “experts” that don’t often know what’s going on in your classroom!
If that sounds good, you’re ready for the behavior re-haul!

Rachel is a certified trauma professional, elementary and special education certified teacher with a masters in curriculum and instruction. Her goal is to empower teachers with practical behavior management techniques through a trauma informed lens. As a teacher and business owner, she is fired up by all things behavior support and could talk about it for hours! As a special education teacher, Rachel's been to her fair share of meaningless PD's that didn't quite "fit" in with what she needed. So, she jumped at the chance to support teachers who need, and desire, to deepen their behavior support toolbox. A firm believer that every teacher has something that makes them uniquely special and able to connect with the most difficult students, Rachel is your behavior cheerleader as you find what works for you in this season! When not focused on behavior, Rachel's busy growing a tiny human, getting all the nursery things together (there are so many things!), and snuggling her 10 month old puppy, Kaia!
