Are you an early-career MS or HS Science or Math teacher who is dreaming of teaching in a setting where the focus is on the fun parts of teaching these subjects rather than managing behavior?

After polling hundreds of educators about what they wish they learned in Teachers College, the #1 response was overwhelmingly classroom management. This course was developed to address this problem. It will be the roadmap that you need to develop and implement a clear, actionable classroom management strategy tailored to science and math courses with the goal of boosting confidence in these subjects and getting buy-in so that you can lead a variety of activities knowing that you won’t need to constantly monitor behavior.

This 5-module course will guide you through the 3 main pillars of classroom management (Creating & Implementing Systems, Building Relationships, and Reacting in the Moment) in order to meet your new students with confidence and set yourself up for success this school year

Professional Practice Goal

New Science and Math teachers will confidently develop and implement a classroom management plan for their MS or HS classes centered on systems and relationships in order to create and nurture a positive, well-run classroom environment that fosters learning.

  • 5 modules of video lessons broken into digestible chunks;
  • 2 options of course trackers to track your progress;
  • Asynchronous videos and tasks that can be tackled at your own pace;
  • A PD certificate for 4 hours of training.

Meet Your Coach

My name is Mo and I’m a creative Science and Math educator with worldwide experience from 7th grade to college (including a year teaching on a tall ship while sailing the world!). My varied teaching experience has led me to develop and hone strategies that work to engage students and help them be successful – no matter where they are or who is in the class!
