PreK-2 teachers will identify 1 timeframe during the school day to begin to integrate SEL for themselves and their students using planning templates and ideas provided.
Hey there! My name is Jill, and I’m happy you came across my workshop Everyday SEL for You and Your Students.
I am passionate about guiding teachers in understanding their own SEL needs, along with the needs of their students, during the school day and beyond. My top 2 strengths are relator and strategic, so finding practical ways to engage in and integrate SEL practices for students and educators became my mission following my 2017 diagnosis of Addison’s Disease. I’ve used my own personal development strategies and 15 year life coach training to guide other teachers in finding their own path to letting go and taking the steps to living a healthy well-rounded life. I live in Minneapolis where I have taught and been an instructional coach for PreK-6 since 1997. In addition to teaching, I am a mom to 2 children, own a fitness studio with my husband, and am a certified life coach.
