If you’re anything like me, you might be looking around at your colleagues wondering “how do they do it?!” You are the first car in the parking lot and the last one to leave. And yet somehow, it doesn’t all get done. Meanwhile your coworkers are leaving close to contract time and you might be wondering “what’s the secret?!”
You love to show up and make an impact with your students, but every morning you are feeling less and less motivated to keep up with the “hustle.”
If you found yourself nodding to everything I just said, then you are not alone! 4 in 5 teachers leave the profession in their first 5 years. It will be no surprise to you then to hear that I was in the exact same boat several years ago. I felt like I was on a never ending hamster wheel of to-do lists without getting anywhere.
This class is perfect for new or experienced teachers who want a step by step plan to leave on time each day. One thing that frustrated me when I first started my wellness journey was all of the “whoo” methods that got me nowhere. But, you see taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be all “whoo.” In this class I give you actionable steps to get you leaving on time consistently for the next week. All based on a research proven framework that has been perfected over years of coaching with other educators around the world. In this 4 lesson class I will walk you through everything from picking a good time to leave, to creating systems to get you out the door. Because I know when teachers take care of themselves, they feel better. And when they feel better they do a better job showing up for their students.
New teachers will be able to consistently leave at a designated time each day over the next week using a simple proven framework.
Hey there! I’m Helena and I am a Teacher Wellness Coach.
I empower educators to eliminate mental and emotional health stigma inside and out of the classroom for themselves and their students. I envision a generation where children feel “seen” and heard and aren’t scared to ask the “hard questions.” As a teacher who overcame my own mental health journey, you will find that I am super relatable, and unapologetically me. I am not afraid to talk about the hard things that others are scared to. I specialize in Teacher Wellness and Social Emotional Learning for Teachers and Students. I believe teachers need to take care of their own health FIRST before they are able to truly make an impact in the classroom.
