Course Description

If you’re hoping to engage your students in Math, show them how it is used in the real world! This workshop is for teachers who want a research-based, culturally relevant approach to help their students with problem solving skills and real world connections. Inside you’ll find a project-based assessment with a lesson plan and rubric for teachers, plus a project template and checklist for students!

Coach Expertise

Lauren is a Math Teacher & Tutor for students in grades 3-8 with learning differences. She is passionate about bringing math to life with real world examples and problem solving skills. 

Lauren has been teaching Math for 7 years. She has a  Masters in Instructional Leadership of Advanced Mathematics, and considers herself a Motivational Math Coach – for students, parents and educators.
