Hola! I am a Secondary Spanish teacher from Long Island, NY. I have been teaching Spanish at both the HS and MS levels since 2009. Since 2013, I have been teaching in the IB Spanish program and also frequently teach AP Spanish. Inside of my classroom you will find my students engaged in conversations, challenged to better their language skills and celebrated for making mistakes along the way. I am a firm believer in proficiency over perfection and share this with my students often. My hope is for my students to leave my classroom feeling more confident in their language skills. I am actively involved in many professional organizations and regularly present at local, state, and regional conferences. I firmly believe that we are all lifelong learners and I love connecting and sharing with other world language teachers!
